About Rustic Budget & Living

I'm Elizabeth — a Gen X career woman, a grandmother, and a small-town Pennsylvania woman who built this place while working out these same everyday questions myself.

Elizabeth, founder of Rustic Budget & Living

Meet Elizabeth

Hey, I’m Elizabeth.

I’m a Gen X career woman by day, grandmother by night, and a small-town Pennsylvania woman who’s still figuring out what comes next.

I’ve tried a little bit of everything, taken a few wrong turns, learned some lessons the hard way, and discovered plenty worth sharing.

That’s why I created Rustic Budget & Living — a place for real-life guides, money-saving ideas, digital discoveries, helpful resources, and practical next steps for the rest of us who definitely don’t have it all figured out.

Small-town roots. Gen X grit. Real-life guidance.

You don’t need the whole road mapped out. Sometimes, you just need a compass.

Real experience. Everything here started as something I needed myself — a paycheck that ran out early, bills I hadn't really read, a side idea I wasn't sure how to start. The worksheets are the ones I made for me first.

Practical resources. Plain language, real numbers, and pages you can type into or print and mark up. Nothing here needs an app, a course or a subscription to be useful this week.

Learning as we go. I'm not a financial adviser, a business coach or an expert promising results. I'm someone a little further along one particular path, sharing what worked and what didn't.

The point of all of it is simple: helping ordinary people find their next direction, one honest step at a time. 5 parts of Rustic Budget & Living are publishing today, and more is on the way as I keep working through it.

What holds it together

Authenticity

Every brand under this roof says what it actually is. No hype, no guru voice, no invented urgency.

Quality

Built better, built to last. Tools people can print, mark up, and still use two years from now.

Values

Plain language, honest disclosure, and respect for the reader's time and situation.

What we don't do

  • ◆No paid placements. Every recommendation is a tool that has actually been used.
  • ◆No pressure tactics, false scarcity, or manufactured deadlines.
  • ◆No income promises. Results depend on effort, timing, and circumstances.
  • ◆No selling or sharing the information people enter in our tools.
